Model reduction of multi-scale chemical Langevin equations

This paper addresses the model reduction problem for a class of stiff chemical Langevin equations that arise as models of biomolecular networks with fast and slow reactions and can be described as continuous Markov processes. Initially, a coordinate transformation is sought that allows the decoupling of fast and slow variables in the model equations. Necessary and sufficient conditions are derived for such a linear transformation to exist, along with an explicit change of variables which achieves the desired decoupling. For the systems for which this step is applicable, the method of adiabatic elimination is applied to determine a representation of the slow dynamics. Theoretical concepts and results are illustrated with simple examples.     

Stability radius of implicit dynamic equations with constant coefficients on time scales

This paper deals with the stability radii of implicit dynamic equations on time scales when the structured perturbations act on both the coefficient of derivative and the right-hand side. Formulas of the stability radii are derived as a unification and generalization of some previous results. A special case where the real stability radius and the complex stability radius are equal is studied. Examples are derived to illustrate results.

多尺度法的设解形式之探讨

当采用多尺度法研究非线性振动问题时，经常会遇到不同情形下系统响应的设解形式不同的问题．文中针对一类具有平方和立方非线性项的单自由度和多自由度非线性系统，得到不同设解形式下的一次近似解和二次近似解，并与数值解相比较，发现2种设解形式的近似解与数值仿真解的解曲线吻合很好，表明传统的各种设解形式在研究弱非线性系统时都有很好的近似性．     

一套用于激光多步共振电离截面测量的多定标数据获取系统

本文主要介绍了一套应用于激光多步共振电离截面测量的CAMAC多定标数据获取系统.它可以实现严格同步采集多个实验参数,并能灵活适应实验条件的宽范围变化.CAMAC前端的定标器数目可通过更改数据读出表文件来任意增减;获取方式分为自动重复获取和手动单次获取;获取时间单位可在1ms-800s范围内调节.经过测试得到,本数据获取系统的获取时间单位选择100s时长时间工作的稳定性(△t/t)好于±0.01%,充分证实了该套数据获取系统长时间在线采集实验数据的可靠性.最后利用这套系统同步测量了三台热电偶激光功率探头的功率-响应时间曲线.     

旧料生产锡磷青铜带材急冷破鳞开裂原因及其探讨

阐述了在实际生产过程中，因大量使用镀白旧料生产锡磷青铜带材，在急冷破鳞时易出现开裂现象及其产生的原因。根据其特有的生产工艺及特点提出了相应的解决方法。     

Influences of variable scales and activation functions on the performances of multilayer feedforward neural networks

This paper gives insight into the methods about how to improve the learning capabilities of multilayer feedforward neural networks with linear basis functions in the case of limited number of patterns according to the basic principles of support vector machine (SVM), namely, about how to get the optimal separating hyperplanes. And furthermore, this paper analyses the characteristics of sigmoid-type activation functions, and investigates the influences of absolute sizes of variables on the convergence rate, classification ability and non-linear fitting accuracy of multilayer feedforward networks, and presents the way of how to select suitable activation functions. As a result, this proposed method effectively enhances the learning abilities of multilayer feedforward neural networks by introducing the sum-of-squares weight term into the networks’ error functions and appropriately enlarging the variable components with the help of the SVM theory. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified through three classification examples as well as a non-linear mapping one.     

Qualitative Ordinal Scales: The Concept of Ordinal Range

Many practical problems of quality control involve the use of ordinal scales. Questionnaires planned to collect judgments on qualitative or linguistic scales, whose levels are terms such as “good,” “bad,” “medium,” etc., are extensively used both in evaluating service quality and in visual controls for manufacturing industry. In an ordinal environment, the concept of distance between two generic levels of the same scale is not defined. Therefore, a population (universe) of judgments cannot be described using “traditional” statistical distributions since they are based on the notion of distance. The concept of “distribution shape” cannot be defined as well. In this article, we introduce a new statistical entity, the so-called ordinal distribution, to describe a population of judgments expressed on an ordinal scale. We also discuss which of the traditional location and dispersion measures can be used in this context and we briefly analyze some of their properties. A new dispersion measure, the ordinal range, as an extension of the cardinal range to ordinal scales, is then proposed. A practical application in the field of quality is developed throughout the article.

针对机电结合轨道衡使用年限长、计量精度差、急需更新改造的现状。为缩短工期，在不停秤的情况下设计制造了工字钢及钢板焊接而成的横梁与原基础联接，使停秤时间由30天减少为2天．测试表明，各项功能正常，器件防护良好，为中准确度级合格．应用表明。称重速度快、性能稳定。减少了计量误差，提高了衡器精度，各项技术指标符合要求。     

导电薄板在纵向磁场中的谐波共振分析

基于Maxwell方程及Kirchhoff薄板基本假设,导出了导电薄板的非线性磁弹性振动方程、电动力学方程和电磁力表达式。在此基础上,研究了纵向磁场中横向机械动载作用下条形薄板的非线性谐波共振问题。针对两端简支边界条件情况,应用伽辽金法进行积分,导出了关于振动位移和电场强度函数的磁弹性耦合振动微分方程组。利用多尺度法进行求解,得到了共振下的幅频响应方程,并对定常解的稳定性进行了分析,得到了解的稳定性判定条件。通过数值计算,得到了共振振幅随调谐参数、激励力幅值和磁感应强度的变化规律曲线图,以及系统振动位移和电场强度的时程响应图,分析了电磁、机械等参量对共振现象及解的稳定性的影响。
